Rebecca Kusakawa, Group Coordinator
I have a B.A. in Japanese Language and History from the University of Michigan and have studied abroad at both the Japan Center for Michigan Universities in Shiga, and Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka. After graduating, I taught at a small English school in Northern Osaka for 2 years with elementary to high school age students, as well as a preschool class. I continued to tutor adult students studying abroad in Canada, where I now live. I am passionate about cultural exchange in education and my hobbies include Japanese traditional dance, art and kimono. I am fluent in speaking, reading and writing Japanese.
What I love about MLI: I love the idea of bringing together international students, through providing unique, educational and unforgettable experiences, with new friends here in Canada.‹ Back
