I love books, movies, travelling and learning new things. I love animals and spending time at home with my dog and two cats. I’m delighted to be living in Vancouver and love the cool, crisp northern air!

I spent several years living in Japan and I can speak English and Japanese. Before moving to Vancouver and starting at MLI, I taught Japanese in California public schools and I enjoy supporting younger generations of students as they build bridges between nations and grow in their understanding of other cultures.  Prior to both MLI and my teaching career, I worked in the translation and hospitality industries. I am so happy to have found a home at MLI where I can leverage my three main interests in education, travel and the Japanese language.

What I love about MLI: I am delighted to be able to share the best Canada has to offer to others. I think travelling to another country and immersing one’s self in its culture and traditions is a fantastic way to grow as a person. I am really happy I get to be a part of this journey for so many of those coming to Canada on MLI programs.
