Carolina Ladeira, High School Program Coordinator
I love brigadeiros and baking, running and biking, travelling and exploring new places. My favourite place in the world is on a white sandy beach alongside the crystal blue water. I’m passionate about learning new things and getting to know people. Being busy is one of my hobbies as well, you will always find me with tons of things to do.
I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I came to Canada 5 years ago, on an adventure to learn from a different culture. It took me 6 months to fall in love with this country, its variety and mix, and decide to live here. I am a graduate in Journalism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and my field has always been in Public Relations. I have been working with international students since 2013. I have worked with Homestay and as an Invigilator and Administrator on IELTS exams, which is the world's most popular English language assessment. I speak English and Portuguese, and a little bit of French.
My role at MLI has been taking care of international High School students as an Academic Year Program Coordinator.
What I love about MLI: Helping students to succeed in Canada, and providing them with the best possible experience. Their smiles and ‘Thank yous' are priceless! Last, but not least, I love the fact that I learn something new every day.
